A Brief Biography...
Avid enthusiasts of Cardio Barre in Studio City, sisters Suzanne Caffey and Nancy Montgomery teamed as business partners to open Cardio Barre Eagle Rock.
Suzanne took ballet classes her entire childhood eventually moving to New York City to pursue her dream of becoming a professional dancer. Years later, in 2002, Suzanne watched with interest as an exercise studio with the word “barre” in it opened around the corner from her home. Raising a family with a full time career at a law firm, along with being an interior designer and gardener, made it challenging to find time to exercise and offset stress. After trying a Cardio Barre class she became an immediate devotee.
Trying to enlist her sister wasn’t easy. Nancy's personal fitness methodology had always been to stay healthy and in shape outside of a gym environment. Whether it was horseback riding, snowboarding or rollerblading, organized fitness classes were never included in her routine. Until Cardio Barre. Both sisters find this program to be the perfect blend of all aspects of fitness, including cardio, balance and strengthening exercises. It never gets old and even after years there is still room for improvement. "It’s a blast and it still kicks our butt!"
Immediately excited when Richard Giorla decided to franchise his business, they were ready to introduce this program to their community and opened their franchise in December, 2008. They are thrilled to have enthusiastic new students and delight in watching their regular clientele become stronger, leaner and healthier resulting in enhanced self esteem. They look forward to great success and want to express their appreciation to all involved.
Freeway close, located centrally between Pasadena and Glendale/Burbank, this location is easily accessed from La Canada, Los Feliz, Silverlake, Echo Park and downtown.
