The two friends met in their first year of college and maintained a close friendship since then. While attending college, they each met and married their spouses, had children and attained Bachelor's and then two Master's degrees! Currently, they continue their journey as Marriage and Family Therapy Interns working toward their licensure. As therapists, Kim and Lili understand the importance of taking care of people's mental and physical well being. The connection between mind and body is essential in preserving a balanced and a healthy quality of life. Lili and Kim found that CARDIO BARRE® bridged the balance between their mental and physical well being, which continues to improve their daily quality of life! With the support of their respective husbands, Tony Surkin and Robert Melcon, and the inspiration of their children, Sivan Surkin and Colin Melcon, they began another journey together as the owners of a CARDIO BARRE® studio in Thousand Oaks.
